Library Documents
The Library Documents feature provides a digital filing system for the school library. Staff can upload, organize, and share documents including e-books, reference materials, reading lists, and institutional resources.

Accessing Library Documents
Navigate to Library from the main sidebar
You will see a folder-based file manager where documents are organized in directories
Click on any folder to browse its contents
Uploading Documents
Open the target folder where you want to upload the document
Click Upload or drag and drop files into the folder area
Supported file types include: PDF, Word (.docx), Excel (.xlsx), images, and more
After uploading, the document will appear in the folder and be accessible to authorized users
Creating Folders
Click New Folder in the current directory
Enter a descriptive folder name (e.g., "Reference Books 2024", "Student Reading List")
Click Create to save the folder
Access Control
Access to Library Documents is controlled by the dokumen-perpus permission. Only users (Staff/Librarians) assigned this permission can view and manage library documents.
Best Practices
- Organize documents into clearly named folders by category (e.g., Science, Literature, Reference)
- Use consistent file naming conventions for easy searching
- Archive outdated materials by moving them to an "Archive" subfolder rather than deleting them
- Regularly review and update the document library to keep content relevant
