Subject Lessons (Chapters & Topics)
The Subject Lessons feature allows teachers and curriculum managers to organize learning content into structured Chapters (Lessons) and Topics within each subject.

Managing Chapters
Navigate to Curriculum → Subject Lessons → Create Chapter
Click Add Chapter to create a new chapter
Fill in the chapter details:
- Chapter Name – Name of the learning chapter
- Subject – Select the related subject
- Class – Assign the chapter to a specific class
- Description – Brief description of the chapter content
Click Save to create the chapter
Chapter List
The chapter list displays all chapters across subjects. You can:
- Edit a chapter's name or description
- Delete a chapter (note: this will also remove all associated topics)
- Filter chapters by subject or class
Managing Topics
Topics are the individual learning units inside a chapter.
Navigate to Curriculum → Subject Lessons → Create Topic
Click Add Topic
Fill in the topic details:
- Topic Name – Name of the specific topic
- Chapter – Select the parent chapter
- Description – What students will learn in this topic
Click Save to create the topic
Teacher Access
Teachers can only view and manage chapters/topics for subjects they are assigned to teach. Curriculum Admins can manage all subjects.
Teachers with lesson permissions can access Subject Lessons from their Teacher Dashboard → My Lesson quick link.
Tips
- Create chapters before adding topics, as topics must belong to a chapter
- Use descriptive chapter names that align with the official syllabus
- Topics should reflect individual lesson plans or sessions
